Funeral strike in Nuseirat
Israeli drone and airstrikes across central Gaza killed at least 14 Palestinians, with more than half of the deaths coming in a drone strike on a funeral procession in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
“Multiple Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 14 Palestinians, more than half of them in a drone strike on a funeral procession”
Al Jazeera reported that the drone targeted Palestinian mourners gathered outside the Ahmad Yassin Mosque as they waited to begin the funeral procession for a Palestinian killed earlier in the same area.

Palestine Chronicle said an Israeli drone strike killed at least eight Palestinians and wounded twenty others on Friday after targeting mourners gathered for a funeral in Nuseirat, with eight bodies and twenty injured people brought to Al-Awda Hospital.
Palestine Chronicle added that eyewitnesses said the drone attacked civilians waiting outside the mosque moments before the funeral procession began, and images from the scene showed bodies on the ground alongside wounded mourners as rescuers rushed casualties to hospital.
Ceasefire violations and voices
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud said, "There is no regard for the ceasefire," describing how the people participating in the funeral procession were coming out of the mosque when a drone strike targeted a group within the procession itself.
Hamas condemned the strike, calling it "This heinous crime takes place while the aggressor regime, through its systematic and continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, continues to kill and terrorise innocent citizens".

Palestine Chronicle said the Gaza Government Media Office described Israel’s actions as "the killings and the war of genocide" through attacks on "popular markets, funerals, peaceful civilian gatherings and safe residential apartments."
Palestine Chronicle also quoted the Gaza Government Media Office describing the attacks as "a clear entrenchment of a policy of terrorism directed against every living being in the Gaza Strip."
Wider toll and next risks
The Palestine Chronicle account said the attack raised the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn Friday to at least thirteen, while the Gaza Government Media Office said more than twenty-five Palestinians were killed over the past seventy-two hours in attacks targeting markets, funerals, civilian gatherings and residential homes.
“A bloody massacre in Nuseirat”
Palestine Chronicle stated that Israeli attacks since the ceasefire entered into force on October 10, 2025 have killed 1,127 Palestinians and wounded 3,643, and that since the beginning of Israel’s genocide in October 2023 at least 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 wounded.
Al Jazeera reported that ACLED said there were more than 40 strikes last month, the highest monthly total since the "ceasefire" began, raising questions about whether Israel’s war on Gaza will ever end and allow the devastated territory to be rebuilt.
Al Jazeera also cited Haaretz reporting that Israel has been killing children as "a matter of routine"—274 since the "ceasefire" started, with "on average, one child has been killed every day since then."
