Arrests in Hebron
Israeli occupation forces arrested three children from Hebron Governorate on Sunday night, according to local sources cited by وكالة شهاب الإخبارية.
The sources said the forces stormed the al-Haraiq area south of Hebron and arrested Yahya Mas’oud al-Joulani (12 years old) and Abdul Rahman al-Joulani (13 years old).

They added that the occupation forces arrested 15-year-old Bilal Jaradat from the Ras al-Arood area during their raid on the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron.
The Palestine Center for Prisoners' Studies, as cited by المركز الفلسطيني للإعلام, said Israeli authorities are holding in its prisons 350 Palestinian children, including an infant.
More detentions, Gaza toll
WAFA reported that Israeli forces detained three Palestinian citizens, including child, in the Jaber neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron on Thursday night, citing local activist Aref Jaber.
WAFA said Jaber told it that Israeli forces deployed in the Jaber neighborhood detained a 12-year-old and his father after the latter attempted to intervene to prevent his son’s detention.

In a separate Gaza-focused account dated January 17, 2024, WAFA said Israeli warplanes launched strikes targeting four houses west of Khan Yunis while heavy artillery fire hit several residential buildings in the Al-Namsawi neighborhood.
That same WAFA account put the Gaza Strip death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7 at 24,285 and said at least 61,154 people had been wounded.
What comes next
The WAFA account of Gaza also described Israeli airstrikes and artillery targeting the surroundings of Nasser Medical Hospital and Al-Amal Hospital, causing serious damage to Al-Amal Hospital and spreading panic and fear among patients, the wounded, medical staff, and displaced people seeking shelter in that hospital.
“At least 13 civilians were killed and others injured late Tuesday evening in the ongoing Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardment of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll to 23 since Tuesday morning”
It further said Israeli jets launched several strikes on the city of Beit Hanoun in the north and that rescue teams in Gaza City recovered the bodies of 20 civilians and dozens of injured after violent airstrikes in the An-Nafaq district.
In the Hebron arrests coverage, المركز الفلسطيني للإعلام framed the arrests as part of Israeli occupation forces’ “arrest campaigns” targeting three children in the city of Hebron and the town of Sa'ir.
Across the two threads, the sources’ figures—350 Palestinian children held in prisons, and 24,285 killed in Gaza since October 7—set the scale of what the reporting says is at stake.
