Demolition in Al-Tur
Israeli occupation forces completed the demolition of properties belonging to Nabil Jumaa and Samir Jumaa in the Al-Tur neighborhood east of occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday, after the owners had previously demolished the structures themselves about two months earlier under Israeli threats, pressure, and measures.

The Jerusalem Governorate said occupation machinery arrived at the site and finished the demolition despite the earlier self-demolition, and it described the move as part of an ongoing policy of restricting Jerusalemites and forcing them to demolish their own properties before occupation authorities return to impose heavy fines.
During the demolition operation, the Jerusalem Governorate said occupation forces assaulted the property owners and several citizens present at the site, causing one citizen to suffer a serious eye injury that required transfer to a Jerusalem hospital for treatment.
WAFA reported that Israeli bulldozers returned to the site and completed the demolition, and it said one Palestinian sustained a serious eye injury and was transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem for medical treatment.
Assault and Injuries
Roya News said Israeli Occupation forces assaulted members of the Abu Jumaa family, including women and elderly residents, during the complete demolition of their residential building in the town of al-Tur, east of occupied Jerusalem.
Roya News reported that the assault resulted in multiple injuries among family members and local residents, including bruises, contusions, and one young man who sustained a severe eye injury, and it said the injured youth was transferred to a Jerusalem hospital for urgent medical treatment.
The Jerusalem Governorate, as quoted by شبكة مصدر الاخبارية, said occupation forces stormed the site and resumed the demolitions, describing the action as reflecting the continuation of an Israeli policy aimed at forcing Palestinians in Jerusalem to demolish their homes and facilities with their own hands.
شبكة مصدر الاخبارية added that injuries during the assaults resulted in one person being seriously injured in the eye, and it said the injured person was transported to one of Jerusalem's hospitals for treatment.
Policy and Calls for Accountability
The Jerusalem Governorate stressed that what happened in Al-Tur comes within a systematic policy targeting the Palestinian presence in the holy city through demolishing homes and facilities, imposing restrictions and arbitrary measures, and turning licensing procedures into a tool of pressure.

In the same framing, شبكة يافا الإخبارية said the Governorate affirmed that demolition, displacement policies, and attacks against residents will not succeed in uprooting Jerusalemites from their land and homes, and it stressed that Jerusalem will remain a Palestinian Arab city.
WAFA said the incident forms part of a systematic Israeli policy targeting the Palestinian presence in occupied Jerusalem through home and property demolitions, restrictive measures, and the use of discriminatory planning and permit policies to pressure Palestinians into leaving the city.
WAFA also reported that the Governorate called on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to assume their responsibilities by providing protection for the Palestinian people and holding Israel accountable for violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
