West Bank demolitions
Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, and issued an order to seize and demolish a Palestinian-owned home, according to WAFA.

WAFA quoted Secretary of the Fatah movement in Tell, Issam Al-Saifi, saying Israeli forces stormed the home of a slain Palestinian who was shot dead by Israeli forces and handed his family a notice ordering the seizure of the three-story house and their forced eviction within 72 hours ahead of its demolition.
In a separate incident described by Middle East Eye, a Palestinian home built during the Ottoman period and about 40 years older than the state of Israel was demolished by Israeli authorities, with the homeowner finding the house in ruins when he returned from work.
Middle East Eye said Palestinians view the demolition as part of an accelerating campaign to wipe out Palestinian heritage and history on their land.
Settler violence and raids
The News Line reported that Israeli occupation forces seized four Palestinian homes in the town of Till, southwest of Nablus, and converted them into military outposts, while settler organisations circulated calls for a mass incursion into the town on Friday.
It said troops took over the home of Arab Ramadan in the Al-Hawuz area and warehouses belonging to Abdul Salam Shteyah in Al-Qabala, with soldiers positioned inside as part of preparations to secure settler movement through the area.
World Socialist Web Site said Israel intensified its offensive in the occupied West Bank and cited United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) figures that 1,111 Palestinians, including at least 243 children, have been killed in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since the Gaza war began.
World Socialist Web Site also said the Israeli army (IDF) announced reinforcing its presence in the West Bank by adding five companies and revoking weekend passes for soldiers.
Escalation and what follows
World Socialist Web Site reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu backed settlers, promising "strong measures," including the demolition of the home of the family of one of the Palestinians involved and speeding up the approval process for the construction of new Israeli settlements in the area.

It said Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced a $400 million funding plan to build dozens of new illegal settlements in the West Bank, and that the situation is unfolding alongside an expansion of Israeli settlement activity.
WAFA reported that the Tell demolition order required forced eviction within 72 hours ahead of demolition, following a July 24 killing in Tell that resulted in the killing of four members of the same family and the injury of four others as residents confronted a colonist attack.
The News Line described how, in the same broader pattern of settler violence, the road running alongside the Yitzhar settlement was closed to vehicles until Friday evening to clear the way for provocative marches planned by settlers.
