West Bank raids injure
Israeli occupier assaults and army raids across the occupied West Bank caused multiple injuries to Palestinians on Saturday amid escalating violence, according to sources and medics cited by Anadolu Ajansı.
“Israeli authorities arrested yesterday, Saturday, several people, including two soldiers, on charges of stealing weapons from bases belonging to the Israeli army, in the latest episode of weapon theft from Israeli military bases, which has become a recurring phenomenon in recent years”
Anadolu said Israeli occupiers stormed the village of Jurish and the town of Aqraba in southern Nablus, hurling stones at Palestinian homes and assaulting residents, and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews treated a 35-year-old pregnant woman and a 65-year-old woman after they were assaulted in Jurish village.

In the central occupied West Bank, Anadolu reported that Israeli occupiers attacked the village of Deir Jarir in eastern Ramallah, triggering clashes after Israeli forces moved into the area to protect the occupiers, and that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition during the raid, wounding a Palestinian man in the foot and detaining several residents.
Anadolu also said Israeli forces raided the city of Al-Bireh near Ramallah, storming a fuel station at the city’s northern entrance and detaining three young Palestinians inside, and that local sources said Israeli soldiers confiscated surveillance camera recordings from the station during the raid.
Further south, Anadolu reported that Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, firing tear gas canisters that left dozens of Palestinians suffering from suffocation.
Arms theft and arrests
Al-Jazeera Net reported that Israeli authorities arrested several people, including two soldiers, on charges of stealing weapons from bases belonging to the Israeli army, describing it as the latest episode in a recurring phenomenon.
The outlet said Israeli media reported the detainees were arrested in connection with at least four different theft incidents over the past few weeks, and that they managed to transfer the stolen weapons from the bases to internal destinations not specified.

Al-Jazeera Net cited data from military police investigations indicating that the army’s warehouses have turned into something like an open shop for illicit weapons, with the Israeli army recording around 200 major theft incidents from within its bases over the last two years.
The report added that authorities documented thefts between 2024 and 2026, including the theft of 30,000 rounds from the Sdei Teiman base in the south and 70,000 rounds from military bases in the north and the occupied Golan, bringing the total ammunition stolen from army barracks to over 100,000 rounds.
Al-Jazeera Net said investigations in 2026 revealed the involvement of two Israeli soldiers from combat units in carrying out four high-profile theft operations, and that they were arrested on Saturday, May 9, along with a group of involved individuals.
Belgium bans air transit
Virgule.lu reported that Belgium bans air transit of military equipment to Israel through a royal decree published by Le Moniteur on Thursday, January 22, with the text entering into force immediately.
“Israeli occupier assaults, army raids cause multiple injuries across West Bank Pregnant woman, elderly Palestinian among those injured as attacks, raids spread across several areas of occupied territory Layan Bsharat 10 May 2026•Update: 10 May 2026 RAMALLAH, Palestine Israeli occupier attacks and army raids across the occupied West Bank caused multiple injuries to Palestinians on Saturday amid escalating violence in several areas, according to sources and medics”
The outlet said the prohibition applies to any aircraft carrying equipment destined for Israel or the occupied Palestinian territories, and that it also applies to flights that previously had authorizations.
Virgule.lu added that the decree imposes a strict information obligation on any airline or any person with knowledge, or sufficient reason to believe, that such a flight will take place, under penalty of sanctions.
Amnesty International France argued that France must clearly state which weapons, which military equipment, and which components it continues to export to Israel, and said the investigative media Disclose and the Progressive International (PI) network report that France continues to deliver on a "regular and ongoing" basis military equipment to the State of Israel since the Gaza conflict began in October 2023.
Amnesty International France also quoted Sébastien Lecornu denying the claim, saying "France does not sell arms to Israel. Period," while Amnesty International France said it continues to act to obtain the government’s data on its arms exports.
