Al-Aqsa security recruitment
The Yaffa News Network said the Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" reported that Israeli police have begun a plan to recruit officers from the far-right wing to serve in guarding Al-Aqsa Mosque as part of efforts to impose “sovereignty” over it.
“Local sources told Anadolu Agency that Israeli forces, accompanied by military vehicles and bulldozers, raided the village of al-Mughir, and fired sound bombs and tear gas toward Al-Mughir Boys’ School while students were inside, causing several of them to experience asphyxia”
Yaffa News Network reported that the deputy commander of the “Temple Mount” police unit, Daniel Lerch, posted a recruitment call on social media and WhatsApp groups, including groups linked to far-right organizations and settlers in the West Bank.

In Lerch’s call, he wrote: “Thank God, we have launched a project to recruit religious men for the Temple Mount (Al-Aqsa Mosque), and I welcome everyone who wishes to participate in implementing sovereignty to contact me.”
The report said the job offers special conditions and exceptional benefits, including the possibility of working without weekends, working 4 days a week or 10 days a month, and it quoted Arnon Segal saying the step is “blessed and shows state recognition of the Jewish value of the Temple Mount.”
Gaza strikes and hospital hits
Union Juive Française pour la Paix published dispatches describing Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments in Khan Yunis that killed at least 13 civilians late Tuesday and raised the death toll to 23 since Tuesday morning.
The dispatches said Israeli warplanes launched strikes targeting four houses to the west of Khan Yunis while residents were still inside, and heavy artillery fire hit several residential buildings in the Al-Namsawi neighborhood.

It also stated that airstrikes and artillery hit the surroundings of Nasser Medical Hospital and Al-Amal Hospital, causing serious damage to Al-Amal Hospital and spreading panic and terror among patients, the wounded, medical staff, and displaced people seeking shelter in that hospital.
In the same dispatches, the death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7 was given as 24,285, with 61,154 injured and thousands missing.
The dispatches added that it is possible the missing figure does not account for all victims due to incomplete coverage caused by Israel’s intensive bombardments and the complete and repeated interruptions of communications and Internet services.

The agency said Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at the village entrance, preventing entry and exit, in tandem with the tear gas being fired at residents.
In the same TRT عربي report, Palestinian Minister of Education Amjad Barham affirmed that Israel targets the Palestinian education sector through a 'systematic, destructive policy' aimed at depriving students of their right to education.
TRT عربي said Barham explained during a scientific conference in Jordan that Israel has destroyed about 85% of university buildings in Gaza and 293 out of 307, in addition to continuing assaults on educational institutions in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The report also stated that the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, has seen an escalation of Israeli military operations and settler attacks against Palestinians and their property, with those assaults since October 2023 resulting in the death of at least 1,155 Palestinians and injuries to about 11,750 others, according to official Palestinian data.
