In Idhna, settlers attacked residents under the protection of Israeli forces, firing rubber bullets and sound grenades, and a young man was injured in the neck while two elderly men were also hurt during attempts to stop settlers from stealing livestock.

In a separate incident, TRT Français reported that Israeli forces carried out coordinated raids in the occupied West Bank, detaining dozens of Palestinians across refugee camps and major cities, including nine arrests in the Qalandia refugee camp after soldiers stormed houses and damaged property.

TRT Français also said soldiers cordoned off the Qalandia area and fired tear gas in residential neighborhoods, while no injuries were reported there.

Arrests and wider violence

TRT Français described a wave of coordinated raids that stretched from refugee camps to major cities, with Israeli forces searching dozens of houses in the Al-Arroub refugee camp and in the towns of Idhna and Bani Na'im near Hebron.

TRT Français said that in the north, two Palestinians were arrested in Nablus, while incursions were also reported in Tubas and in the nearby town of Tayasir, and in eastern Tulkarm troops launched a broad arrest campaign targeting dozens of people with the exact number of detainees remaining uncertain.

In the village of Kafr Malik near Ramallah, TRT Français reported that a child and a teenager were among those detained, and it framed the operations as part of ongoing Israeli military aggression in the occupied West Bank.

Le Temps, meanwhile, focused on Masafer Yatta and documented forcible occupation by settlers and the Israeli army, describing how photographer Nicolas Cortés has been documenting since 2019 and how he formed a friendship with Palestinian journalist Basel Adra, one of the four directors of the film 'No Other Land,' which has won several awards.

Le Temps also described how the 27 families of Zanutta fled in October 2023 under pressure from the settlers, with all structures demolished, and by the end of August only the men returned for a first night to re-settle before the army and settlers returned again.

Attacks, arson, and water

In the central West Bank, ٢٦ سبتمبر نت reported that Zionist settlers burned Palestinian agricultural lands near the Noor Mosque in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The same report said residents and worshippers described settlers storming the village carrying gasoline pumps and flammable materials, and it added that the assault coincided with attacks targeting mosques in Ramallah Governorate, including burning a mosque in the village of Jaljaliya north of Ramallah and another mosque in the village of Jibiya.

٢٦ سبتمبر نت also said that today Sunday, settlers destroyed water transmission lines and stole parts of them, damaging water meters and parts of the irrigation networks belonging to Palestinian farmers east of the village of Atouf, south of Tubas in the northern Jordan Valley.

WAFA Agency reported that Israeli colonists on Friday attacked the village of Yerza, east of Tubas, injuring seven Palestinians, and it quoted Mukhlis Masa'id saying colonists stormed the village and attacked villagers who had come to inspect their homes they had been forced to leave several months ago.

WAFA Agency added that Masa'id said two casualties were transferred to a hospital for treatment while Israeli occupation forces were holding the remaining casualties and preventing their hospitalization.
