Kushner meets Netanyahu
Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip intensified after U.S. envoy Jared Kushner met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, killing 17 people in less than 24 hours, according to Al-Jazeera Net.

Mladenov said there is "no better alternative to the current plan" and added that a return to war would be "devastating," while directing his warning at both the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
He said the Board of Peace had determined the mechanism for deploying the International Stabilization Force and its deployment locations in the Gaza Strip, noting that Morocco agreed to take part while Turkiye would not participate after Israel vetoed Ankara’s involvement.
On reconstruction, Mladenov told Al Jazeera that the Board had received pledges worth $7bn, and he credited Qatar, Egypt and Turkiye with playing "an important role" in advancing the agreement with Hamas.

Qatar’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a press conference with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in Alamein city, urging rejection of any attempt to curb freedom of navigation and calling for Israel to fully adhere to its commitments under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Sheikh Mohammed said he discussed with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi developments in the region, including the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, and he emphasized the importance of freedom of navigation in the Hormuz Strait and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
In a separate Anadolu Agency report, Egypt and Qatar urged the United States to pressure Israel to fulfill its commitments under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, with Shoukry saying, "We rely on direct intervention by President (Donald) Trump in this matter."
Anadolu also says the roadmap announced by the "Peace Council" chaired by Trump included transferring governance of the Strip to the National Committee for Gaza Administration under international supervision, deploying an international stabilizing force, Hamas’s disarmament, and a phased Israeli withdrawal and reconstruction.
The same Anadolu report says Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his rejection of these understandings, conditioning Hamas’s disarmament before any Israeli withdrawal, while Al Jazeera Net reported that Hamas said it was ready for measures to restrict and stockpile weapons only if paired with a gradual and orderly Israeli withdrawal.
