Peter Phillips Marries
Senior British royals gathered as King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the wedding of Charles’ nephew Peter Phillips to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in a church ceremony in the southwestern English village of Kemble on Saturday.

The ceremony took place at All Saints Church in Kemble, about four miles south of Cirencester, where metal barriers were erected and roads closed around the church as well-wishers lined the streets.
AP News said the couple were joined by more than 100 guests, including Prince William, Princess Catherine, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice and other royals, while Sky News described the ceremony as intimate and attended by the monarch and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Sky News reported that Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie attended in what it described as their first public appearance since a new National Audit Office report emerged on the financial arrangements of several members of the Royal Family, including details about how the King has footed the bill for their accommodation.
Rain, Hats, and Tiara
Multiple outlets described the wedding day in the Cotswolds as rainy, with well-wishers holding umbrellas to throw rose petals over the couple as they left the church after the ceremony.
AP News said the bride wore a high-neck lace gown designed by Emilia Wickstead, while People reported that Harriet Sperling wore a floor-length Emilia Wickstead gown with a long train and lace overlay.
People added that Sperling topped her bridal look with a tiara and earrings by Pragnell, and it noted that the decision to wear a tiara bucked modern tradition because Queen Camilla chose not to wear a tiara for her 2005 nuptials to the future King Charles.
Sky News said the well-wishers shouted "hip hip hooray" as the bride appeared with her three bridesmaids, including Mr Phillips's children Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, as well as Ms Sperling's teenage daughter Georgina.
Attendance and Scrutiny
The wedding drew attention not only for who attended but for who did not, with Sky News reporting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not attend and ABC News saying neither Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor nor Prince Harry are expected to attend.
