Fab Five members: Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson reunite. Alt-cast on truTV and HBO Max during Michigan-Arizona Final Four; broadcast on TBS and TNT.
Historic Reunion
Michigan's Fab Five will reunite for an alternate broadcast of the Final Four game. The reunion marks one of only a handful of times the group has gathered since their college days. The booster scandal led to vacated wins and removed banners.
Alternate Broadcast Format
The alternate broadcast will feature real-time reactions and unique perspectives from the Fab Five. Rose and Webber have been part of TBS, TNT and truTV's studio crew during the tournament. The alt-cast approach follows a 2015 experiment with team streams.
Cultural Significance
The Fab Five revolutionized college basketball upon arriving as freshmen in 1991. They led Michigan to consecutive national championship game appearances in 1992 and 1993. Their impact on college basketball was substantial despite vacated accomplishments.
