Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the evacuation and demolition of some illegal outposts in the occupied West Bank, after US pressure for Israel to act against violent acts by Israeli settlers against Palestinians.

Haberler said the instruction covers outposts established without official authorization, often consisting of prefabricated structures housing a small number of settlers, and noted that Israel periodically demolishes these structures while some are later formally recognized and allowed to benefit from state support.
Ahram Online reported that Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said, "To my knowledge, Netanyahu has given the instruction to evacuate" certain settlements, while adding that he did not approve of the measure.

SadaNews said Israeli security agencies warned of a significant increase in alerts and information related to attempts to carry out Palestinian operations, quoting a security source saying, "We are monitoring a very significant increase in the volume of alerts and information" and that Israeli forces "thwart dozens of operations every week."
Yaffa News Network added that the coming period could bring a clash between "despair gripping Palestinians" and "unprecedented settlement expansion and growth," while also noting that the area is undergoing major changes alongside settlement centers and around 130 farms.
Daily Beirut reported that the military plans to reinforce its presence in the West Bank with at least two additional battalions, alongside raising alert levels and preparing for possible security escalation during the approaching Jewish holidays.
