Ossoff spotlights Harp
Sen. Jon Ossoff, a Georgia Democrat running for reelection, escalated his feud with President Donald Trump after invoking Trump’s longtime aide Natalie Harp during a campaign event with Sen. Mark Kelly, calling Trump “the draft dodging crook president who has plunged our nation recklessly into a war he knows not how to end or to win.”
“Ossoff ramped up the feud Tuesday during a campaign event with Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.)”
Ossoff had ramped up the line of attack Tuesday by saying Trump instead of acting as president wants to build a ballroom and “travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace,” referencing the Air Force One given to Trump by Qatar.

The White House response intensified as White House spokesperson Davis Ingle labeled Ossoff a “feminine theater kid” and a “lightweight,” while communications director Steven Cheung nicknamed the senator “Jon Jackoff” and “the biggest cuck loser” in a post on social platform X.
Trump also pushed back directly when asked about Ossoff’s comments, replying “You mean Pee-wee Herman? Pee-wee Herman look alike,” before changing the subject.
Ossoff’s remarks put Harp, a 35-year-old aide described as frequently seen at Trump’s side, at the center of a broader political fight in Georgia as Ossoff seeks reelection this fall.
Harp as “human printer”
Harp’s prominence in the debate is tied to her role in Trump’s day-to-day information flow, with CBS News describing her as quick to provide printouts of positive news coverage for his perusal and noting that she is frequently seen at President Trump’s side.
The New York Times reporting cited by El Independiente portrays Harp as “la impresora humana,” saying she “es quien le hace llegar los mensajes de texto o los artículos que hablan de él” and that she writes his thoughts as he dictates them and publishes them quickly on social media.
In the same reporting thread, El Independiente says Trump chose Harp as one of the three people who accompanied him when he left en secreto the Air Force One gift of Qatar after suspicion of a possible atentado de Irán.
The Independent en Español similarly frames Harp as part of the small group chosen for Trump’s clandestine escape from Air Force One in Turkey after the NATO summit, describing Haberman’s characterization that “Natalie Harp es como su chupete, por decirlo de alguna manera, su cobijita.”
Forbes also ties the nickname to her physical presence around Trump, saying she was nicknamed the “human printer” during Trump’s 2024 campaign because she carried a printer to print off news articles and social media posts that might interest Trump.
Access, scrutiny, and fallout
Beyond the insults, the sources describe Harp’s access as a point of contention, with Telemundo saying she is one of the few advisers with access to Trump’s social media accounts and that this access has put her in the middle of controversies related to some of Trump’s most controversial posts.
“The Wall Street Journal reported in May, citing people familiar with the matter, that Harp was the one who posted the video.”
Telemundo reports that in February a racist video depicting former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama as apes drew criticism, and it says Harp was named in a Wall Street Journal report in May as the person who posted the video.
The Hill adds that the White House rapid response account on X attacked a CNN correspondent over a question in the Oval Office about Ossoff’s comments, writing “someday, your children will come across your disgusting and inhumane question.”
Democracy Now! frames the episode around secrecy and intimidation, with Maggie Haberman saying the judge handling the matter “condemned how the Justice Department dealt with it,” in the context of subpoenas issued to The New York Times reporters.
Across the coverage, Harp’s proximity to Trump—described as constant and as part of a small group during a secret plane switch—has become a focal point for both political attacks and scrutiny of how information reaches the president.
