Heat and sun risk
The Palestinian Meteorological Department forecast that today, Tuesday, the weather in Ramallah would be typical for summer and partly cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures to around their annual average.

WAFA said winds would be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed and occasionally active, with sea waves light to moderate.
On Wednesday, WAFA reported temperatures would rise to around 2°C above the annual average in mountainous areas and very hot conditions elsewhere.
On Thursday, WAFA said very hot conditions would prevail across most areas with temperatures rising further to around 5°C above their annual average, and it added that very hot weather would continue on Friday with little change around 5°C above their annual average.
WAFA also warned citizens, particularly those living in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fire and vehicle cautions
WAFA reported that the Meteorological Department warned against starting fires in areas with dry vegetation and leaving children or elderly people inside closed vehicles.
The same WAFA forecast said winds would be northwesterly, light to moderate and occasionally active during the evening and nighttime hours, with sea waves remaining light to moderate.

It also described Wednesday as hot in mountainous areas and very hot elsewhere, with temperatures rising to around 2°C above their annual average.
On Thursday, WAFA said temperatures would rise further to around 5°C above their annual average, and it said very hot weather would continue on Friday across most areas with little change.
The forecast tied the warnings to peak exposure hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Jericho and the Jordan Valley.
Regional weather outlook
In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, the Meteorology Department warned residents of the risk of exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods, especially during peak hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the risk of starting fires in areas with abundant dry grasses.

It reported that winds would be from the west to northwest, of moderate to brisk speed, and that the sea would be of moderate wave height.
On Wednesday, the same source said it would be hot in the mountainous areas and very hot in the rest of the regions, with a slight rise in temperatures to about two degrees Celsius above the annual average.
It added that residents should increase water and fluid intake as temperatures rise toward the end of the week.
