Hawara attack and injuries
On Saturday morning, settlers attacked the southern outskirts of Hawara, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, injuring 13 Palestinians, according to Rana Abu Heneh, the Hawara Municipality’s director of public relations, in an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.
Abu Heneh said the assault targeted Palestinian homes and property and included beatings, shrapnel, and tear gas asphyxiation, while the injuries were described as minor.

She added that a large group of settlers besieged the municipality and attacked a Palestinian home adjacent to it, and another group attacked a shed behind the house and stole about 40 head of sheep.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said its crews treated eight injuries during the settlers’ attack on Hawara near Nablus, including a rubber bullet injury, two beatings, and five injuries from tear gas.
Abu Heneh also said settlers entered during their withdrawal toward the nearby outpost under the protection of Israeli forces in clashes with youths and attacked a car shelter, stealing a vehicle from it.
Talfit and tear gas
On Friday, 25 Palestinians were injured in an attack by illegal settlers against the village of Talfit, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to Mahmoud Abu Aisha, head of the village council, in a report carried by Anadolu Ajansı.
Abu Aisha said the settlers launched a coordinated attack against residents and their property, while Israeli troops responded with tear gas, and he specified that fifteen people were suffocated by tear gas, one was shot, and nine others were beaten.

The report said the illegal settlers broke the windows of ten vehicles, damaged four houses, knocked out a transformer, and fired live rounds toward a mosque in the village.
Anadolu Ajansı also said the Palestinian Red Crescent had reported three injured earlier, including a man hit in the thigh by a bullet and two others assaulted.
It further stated that since the launch of its military offensive in Gaza on October 8, 2023, Israel has intensified operations in the West Bank, and that Palestinians view this escalation as a step toward the formal annexation of the territory.
Escalation figures and legal stakes
The TRT Français report described coordinated attacks by illegal Israeli settlers in 13 localities in the occupied West Bank over the past two days, injuring Palestinians and causing substantial material damage, according to Palestinian officials and witnesses.

It said the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported simultaneous attacks since Saturday evening in several governorates, including setting fire to houses and vehicles and throwing stones at Palestinian cars, and it cited an attack on the village of al-Funduq near Jenin where settlers set fire to houses and vehicles and shattered windows.
TRT Français also reported that early Sunday morning, three Palestinians were injured in an attack by settlers on the village of Jalud, southeast of Nablus, and that the Palestinian Red Crescent specified one injured person suffered a deep head wound after being beaten during the attack.
Separately, Anadolu Ajansı stated that in the West Bank during the period since October 8, 2023, at least 1,112 Palestinians have been killed and about 11,500 wounded, and more than 21,000 people have been arrested.
Anadolu Ajansı added that in a historic ruling issued in July 2024, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
