DICE ETF Launches
Benzinga said Tema Trading & Prediction Markets ETF (BATS:DICE) launched on Sept. 9 to give investors exposure to prediction markets, trading platforms, crypto and the financial infrastructure supporting the sector.
Benzinga reported that DICE does not invest in prediction-market contracts themselves, instead holding exposure to the companies building the market, including private-market stakes in Kalshi and Polymarket.

Benzinga added that Kalshi and Polymarket together account for 15% of DICE’s portfolio, and that the ETF also owns publicly traded companies including Robinhood Markets Inc (NASDAQ:HOOD) and Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ:COIN).
Benzinga said Tema President Steve Munroesaid prediction-market trading volume is forecast to increase nearly 20-fold to $1 trillion by 2030, and that the fund charges a 0.75% gross expense ratio.
Benzinga noted that DICE began trading as the 2026 NFL season kicked off and the U.S. midterm election cycle starts gaining momentum, potentially giving prediction-market platforms another wave of attention and activity.
DoubleZero Adds Kalshi
Multiple outlets said DoubleZero added Kalshi’s election markets ahead of the November midterms by making Kalshi’s Elections and Politics markets available through DoubleZero Edge. The Block reported that “Election markets give institutions a real-time, tradable view into how expectations shift as political events unfold,” and said the integration expanded DoubleZero’s reach beyond sports event contracts and crypto perpetual futures. Coin Edition said DoubleZero expanded its institutional market-data offering by adding Kalshi’s election markets ahead of November’s U.S. midterm elections, giving financial firms easier access to real-time political market data.
DiarioBitcoin said the integration was announced as activity associated with the 2026 U.S. legislative elections surpassed the activity recorded during the entire 2024 Congress cycle. Cryptonews.net said the subscription feed includes operations, the best bids and asks, and aggregated market depth by price, delivered through DoubleZero Edge using DoubleZero’s fiber network.

Midterms, Odds, and Stakes
Ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections, Cryptonews.net said the elections will determine control of the Congress during the last two years of President Donald Trump’s term, with 435 House seats and 33 Senate seats on the ballot.
TradingView reported that bets on the US 2026 midterm elections had reached $133 million as of August 10, surpassing the $92.4 million wagered over the entire 2024 congressional election cycle.
TradingView added that a Kalshi market asking which party will win the U.S. House of Representatives had logged more than $35 million in trading volume and showed an 84% probability of a Democratic victory.
PBS said election-season trading on prediction markets is skyrocketing while states fight to outlaw the platforms as unlicensed casinos, and it quoted Jared DeMarinis saying, “This is a troubling trend that election administrators across the nation must deal with.”
PBS also reported that Kalshi disclosed on Aug. 31 that it gave a three-year suspension and fine to a North Carolina congressional candidate, Republican Laurie Buckhout, for trading on her own race.
