Full story

Segunda llegada a tierra

En Galveston, funcionarios locales instaron a asegurar objetos al aire libre, y la Oficina de Gestión de Emergencias de Galveston dijo: “While no significant impacts are forecast, some gusty storms may blow through the island throughout the day.”

Mientras tanto, AP reportó que “No deaths or significant damage have been reported since Bertha formed Monday in the Gulf of Mexico south of the Florida Panhandle,” y que la tormenta seguía avanzando con debilitamiento esperado mientras se movía por el interior de Texas.
