4 Palestinians injured in Israeli military operations across occupied West Bank

Four Palestinians were injured in separate incidents involving Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, including one shot in the head with a rubber bullet and three struck by a military vehicle, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. The society said its crews transported a Palestinian man to a hospital after he was shot in the head during an Israeli raid on Kharbatha Bani Harith village, west of Ramallah. In a separate incident, three Palestinians were hospitalized after being run over by an Israeli military jeep in the town of Al-Yamun, northwest of Jenin, it added. Israeli forces also raided the eastern part of Jenin, entered a bakery and detained several residents for questioning, according to the official Voice of Palestine radio. Palestine TV reported that Israeli soldiers assaulted several young men during the raid. Further south, Israeli police arrested a foreign pro-Palestinian activist in Khirbet Aqawis in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, local rights activist Osama Makhamra said. He added that Israeli forces detained five Israeli activists for several hours in nearby Khirbet al-Halawa before releasing them and confiscating their vehicle. The activists were accused of entering an Israeli-designated military training area known as Firing Zone 918, according to Makhamra. Israeli military raids and attacks by occupiers against Palestinians and their property have intensified across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the start of Israel's war on Gaza in October 2023.
