Head of Hamas Internal Security arrested in Gaza

Earlier today (Tuesday), the IDF and ISA launched a targeted operation to remove threats posed by the Hamas terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip. As part of the operation, ISA special forces entered a structure in the Gaza City area and apprehended the head of Hamas’ Internal Security in the Gaza Strip. During the operation, the Israeli Air Force struck several targets in the area in order to remove threats to the forces. No IDF injuries were reported. The terrorist was transferred for further questioning by security forces inside the State of Israel. The military stated that "the operation was aimed at removing threats, undermining Hamas’ control in the area, and disrupting its plans to advance terrorist activities against IDF troops and Israeli civilians."
