Pictures taken today (July 30) in Tehran's showpiece Azadi Square show a banner depict a bloodied US President and the words "We will kill you" next to an Iranian missile system. The banner shows the 80-year-old looking up in fear with his hands either side of his face. Blood can be seen splattered all over his face and suit. Behind him, the White House can be seen to be up in flames. A drone is also on display in the square. The group reaffirmed its claim to the Strait of Hormuz, calling it "our land" and saying its naval forces exercise "full control" over the waterway. It added that "a stranger who has come from thousands of kilometres away" would not be allowed to interfere US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated their strikes were carried out as a direct response to attempted IRGC attacks the previous day, which had targeted American forces deployed across the Middle East.
