2 Palestinians killed, 27 injured by Israeli attacks in Gaza Strip
Two Palestinians were killed and at least 27 others injured Thursday in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, including seven Palestinians wounded by Israeli gunfire in Jabalia and Rafah. The attacks came amid continued Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement in force since Oct. 10, 2025. Four Palestinians, including two women, were injured when Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward tents sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area northwest of Rafah, a medical source told Anadolu. One of the women was critically injured. In northern Gaza, three Palestinians sustained injuries after Israeli forces opened fire toward tents sheltering displaced people in the Halawa camp east of Jabalia town, another medical source told Anadolu. An Israeli drone struck a vehicle on Al-Rashid Street in the Al-Baidar area of the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood southwest of Gaza City, medical sources told Anadolu. At least 11 Palestinians were injured, including four critically, said sources. The vehicle was transporting the body of a Palestinian killed in an Israeli airstrike earlier Thursday in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, they added. The strike set the vehicle on fire and burned the body it was carrying, according to an Anadolu correspondent. The fire continued for some time before passersby managed to extinguish it. Earlier Thursday, four injured Palestinians were brought to Nasser Hospital, one of them in critical condition, after an Israeli drone struck a group of civilians in central Khan Younis, in southern Gaza. In a separate attack, a Palestinian was killed and another injured in an Israeli strike on a civilian vehicle west of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, a medical source told Anadolu. The body of Muhannad Hassan Abu Madin, 33, was brought to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after Israeli forces shot him west of the town of Al-Zahra, in the northern part of central Gaza, a medical source told Anadolu. Another Palestinian sustained moderate injuries when Israeli forces opened fire northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in central the enclave, a medical source at Al-Awda Hospital said. Israeli military vehicles and quadcopter drones fired toward areas in eastern central Gaza. Israeli naval vessels also opened fire toward the coastline of central and northern Gaza, local sources and eyewitnesses told Anadolu. In the northern enclave, the Israeli army carried out a large-scale demolition of homes and residential buildings in areas where its forces are deployed east of Gaza City. The explosions were heard across large parts of the enclave, witnesses said. Israeli violations of the ceasefire have killed 1,408 Palestinians and injured 4,916, Gaza’s Health Ministry said Thursday.
