Support us Reform UK has said there is "no room for racism" in the party after a damning undercover investigation into the party. The footage appeared to show candidates for the party making graphic threats of extreme violence and expressing racist and misogynistic views. In one excerpt from the ITV News investigation, black children were referred to as "animals", while in another, a Reform member said his area had become "infested" with Asian families. Reform UK sources suggested the people involved had either been suspended or left the party. TRENDING Stories Videos Your Say In response, a Reform UK spokesman said the party had "improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time a handful of individuals who do not share our values" have made it through their checks". The spokesman added: “This is the same for all organisations. "However good the vetting, one cannot vet a future comment, especially in circumstances where an individual is entrapped in a discussion with an undercover reporter. “There is no room for racism in Reform UK.” Nigel Farage's party has been hit with the scandal | PA In the footage, Alan Feeney, a Reform councillor and deputy mayor of Solihull, was filmed saying, "no more than one per cent of [the] British population can be non-white". Councillor Feeney said: "If it's an Asian name, I'm not even knocking at the door; they’re not voting Reform, and I ain’t wasting my time", dubbing his approach to campaigning "Alan’s racist canvassing". Speaking of British Muslims, Councillor Feeney said: "They're in our judiciary, they're in our schools, they're in our healthcare, they're everywhere, and they are not working on our side; they're against us" He added: "When a house comes up for sale, white people need to be in there...You almost need to out-Muslim the Muslims. "You'd need a proper nuclear option, like literally drag them out their homes, stick them on planes and f*** them off to Pakistan. Which you’ll never do in a month of Sundays." He has announced that he has left Nigel Farage's party "for personal reasons". LATEST DEVELOPMENTS Dan Thomas: Reform UK's Welsh leader resigns after being arrested by police Reform UK under criminal investigation by Metropolitan Police after Channel 4 donor sting Reform UK council leader has party membership revoked over alleged racist posts Reform UK said those involved have been removed from the party | GETTY Elsewhere, Dean Miller, a Reform Councillor in Bromley, South London, was in Makerfield campaigning for the party ahead of the by-election. In the footage, he appeared to claim that King Charles is secretly a Muslim, adding: "The Muslim thing is going to be that thing that takes over everything and then everyone just has one religion. "Apparently King Charles is a f****** Muslim. Someone from the inside saw a f****** prayer mat and all that in one of his f****** rooms. I think that's f****** traitorous. Cut the c ***'s head off, sorry." In another recording, Councillor Miller claimed: "We've been ethnically cleansed out of London. Because you never used to get any blacks over in Bromley, and now Bromley [has] massive Nigerian communities there". He went on to claim local children have been committing vandalism in Bromley, adding: "Like all the ethnic f****** kids, they're not white, they're all f****** black, and they're like f****** animals. It's horrible to say it. I'm not racist." Councillor Miller told ITV News he was heavily medicated at the time due to a chronic pain condition, and he has now resigned from Nigel Farage's party. Sir Ed Davey said the report was 'chilling' | PA Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey described the report as "chilling", adding: "I feel for anyone watching this tonight who is frightened to see such racism and hatred festering in their community. "It’s the very worst of what we’re seeing in Trump’s America. We can’t let it become Farage’s Britain." A Conservative Party spokesman said: "Nigel Farage promised to make Reform ready for government. "These sorry individuals are proof he has failed." Bridget Phillipson slammed Nigel Farage's party | GB News Ms Phillipson said Mr Farage had to kick anyone found to have made such “despicable” comments out of the party, adding: "The extreme racism and appalling behaviour exposed by this investigation is truly sickening. “Nigel Farage can’t shrug these latest revelations off as being a few bad apples. “Every Reform councillor, council candidate or party member found to have made such despicable comments must be thrown out of Reform UK immediately. “Nigel Farage needs to explain why this keeps happening in his party and why he is failing to deal with blatant racism among those who stand for public office with his backing. “It’s clear that Farage and his party are determined to poison our politics and threaten the shared British values Labour will always proudly defend.” Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter Live Politics Andy Burnham pushes for deal to hand EU judges powers over Britain as part of new migration pact Politics Exposed: Four times Labour sought to undermine Brexit as Rejoiners push to overturn the will of the people Politics Britain gives Ukraine £17million to fund critical repairs to the Chernobyl power plant after Russia drone attack Politics Shabana Mahmood threatens to impose Trump-style sanctions on Eritrea in visa row Politics Sadiq Khan 'backs down' over £50million Met Police deal with AI software firm Politics Britain's approach to China 'beset by incoherence' warns damning new report Politics Labour to make North Sea gas field decision 'imminently' as winter energy fears mount Politics Nigel Farage tells Andy Burnham to declare 'national security emergency' amid surge in small boat crossings Politics MPs reject Piddington's plea to withdraw from ECHR and abandon migrant camp plans Politics Andy Burnham accused of cover-up over links to scandal-hit Man City as new freebies come to light Politics Nigel Farage says he would do Chagos military base deal with Donald Trump if he were PM Politics Nigel Farage's Reform UK drops to third behind Labour and Tories in bombshell poll Politics Angela Rayner fund used by councils for 'anti-Right-wing propaganda' to stop Nigel Farage becoming PM Politics Village GP surgeries could be shut under Labour's NHS reforms as cities prioritised Politics Labour accused of 'cover-up' on number of criminals freed early as hundreds more hit streets TODAY Politics Labour chair of foreign committee tells Andy Burnham to rejoin EU WITHOUT second Brexit referendum Politics Tories reveal plot to dethrone Reform MP as Kemi Badenoch braces for snap election Politics Shabana Mahmood announces new protections for high-profile figures after Ann Widdecombe killing Politics Nigel Farage threatens sanctions on Pakistan over migrant 'invasion' amid vow to shut down asylum system Politics Andy Burnham launches investigation after GB News exposed campaign of harassment by Argentinians in Falkland Islands Politics Andy Burnham's foreign minister contradicts Prime Minister on Brexit and admits Russia was 'unsuccessful' in influencing Leave vote Politics Andy Burnham sparks Brexit fury as he tells MPs Britain needs a ‘serious dialogue’ on long-term relationship with EU Politics White House to allow UK to test cutting-edge AI models as Andy Burnham sidelines Keir Starmer energy project Politics Andy Burnham offers 'complete solidarity' with Ukraine as he backs Donald Trump's energy ceasefire Politics Andy Burnham claims Russia 'clearly' meddled in 2016 Brexit referendum as PM justfies plot to rejoin EU Politics Green quango faces backlash from cross-bench MPs over £95million HS2 'bat tunnel' Politics Camilla Tominey haunts Wes Streeting with previous 'vow to resign' if Labour fails to meet defence spending targets after fresh delay Politics Andy Burnham lets slip major clue Labour may be plotting early general election Politics Conservatives urge John Healey to deliver 'get a grip' Budget Politics Mauritius threatens to sue Britain over Chagos as country's PM says sovereignty of the islands is 'non negotiable'
