About this analysis

This is a column by Labour deputy leader and Education Secretary Lucy Powell, marking her first year as deputy leader, listing Labour policies and attacking Nigel Farage and Reform UK as unfit for office. Its attacks on Reform, including the line about crypto-billionaire donors, are political argument, and none rises to a grave allegation against a named person. The headline quotes her own words. Nothing in it misleads the reader within the tests that apply to an opinion piece.
