Israeli drone strike wounds 4 Palestinians in Gaza despite ceasefire

Four Palestinians were wounded, one critically, in an Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza City on Thursday, medical sources told Anadolu. Witnesses said an Israeli drone targeted a person passing in front of a cafe in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, severing one of the victim's limbs and leaving the person in critical condition. Earlier, the Israeli army carried out extensive demolitions and detonations in eastern Gaza City, with explosions heard across different parts of the Gaza Strip. In southern Gaza, Israeli warships fired more than 40 times along Rafah's coast intermittently over approximately two hours, according to witnesses. The witnesses said the shelling coincided with unusually heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and helicopters in the area, with no casualties reported. Southern Khan Younis also witnessed increased Israeli military vehicle activity, with troops firing toward tents sheltering displaced Palestinians. The attacks came amid continued Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement in effect since Oct. 10, 2025. According to Gaza's Health Ministry, Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,505 Palestinians and wounded 5,332 others as of Thursday. Since October 2023, Israel's military offensive in Gaza, backed by the US, has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000 others, according to the ministry. The offensive has also destroyed 90% of Gaza's infrastructure.
