3 Palestinians killed, several others injured in fresh Israeli attacks on Gaza
Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip on Friday, as violations of the October 2025 ceasefire continue unabated, sources and witnesses said. In the latest attack, 10 Palestinians were injured, three seriously, in an Israeli strike targeting a group of Palestinians walking near Roni Street in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, medical sources told Anadolu. Separately, two Palestinians were killed in a strike targeting a motorcycle in the al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City, medical sources told Anadolu. In another incident, the sources said several Palestinians were wounded in a strike on Gaza City’s al-Rimal neighborhood. On Friday morning, another Palestinian was killed and others injured when a drone targeted a bicycle on al-Qubba Street in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, a medical source and local sources told Anadolu. Meanwhile, the Israeli army expanded the areas under its control east of al-Masdar village in central Gaza. Local sources said the army extended its control east of the village by moving the concrete blocks marking the so-called “Yellow Line” into areas beyond its existing zone of control. Residents were surprised to find the blocks among their homes near the Ibn Zaydoun intersection east of the village, as the army moved them about 500 meters overnight, the sources added. For about a week, eastern areas of the central governorate have seen intensive movements by Israeli military vehicles along the Yellow Line, accompanied by the leveling of agricultural land and the demolition of homes evacuated by Palestinians, according to the sources. The “Yellow Line, established under the ceasefire understandings, separates areas where Palestinians are permitted to remain in the west from areas occupied by the Israeli army in the east. In northern Gaza, the Israeli army carried out two demolitions of homes and structures in areas where its forces are deployed in the Shujaiya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods east of Gaza City. Since October 2023, the Israeli army has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others in Gaza, while around 90% of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.
