Boebert said she wants the conflict to end and that she communicates regularly with the Department of War and President Donald Trump's administration on the issue. Laubacher countered that Boebert's stance was insincere, pointing out that Boebert has voted five times against war powers resolutions aimed at limiting military authority. The seven-month conflict involving the U.S. and Iran has resulted in the deaths of at least 18 U.S. service members and cost taxpayers more than $30 billion. Boebert currently leads Laubacher by 45 percent to 40 percent in Colorado 's 4th Congressional District ahead of Election Day.
