IDF troops in southern Lebanon recently uncovered two stockpiles of military equipment and weapons in a civilian home located approximately 200 meters from a United Nations post and in a storage facility located approximately 100 meters from a UN post, the military announced on Sunday. During operations by the 'Oded' (9th) Brigade Combat Team in the area of Meiss El Jabal, Israeli forces found Kalashnikov rifles, RPG launchers and rockets, a PK machine gun, fragmentation grenades, an explosive device, ammunition, and communications and surveillance equipment.

These were found alongside humanitarian aid boxes and .Hezbollah apartment found near UN post in Et TiriIn a separate operation in the area of Et Tiri, troops from the Kfir Brigade Combat Team located an apartment that Hezbollah had been using for military purposes, about 250 meters from a UN post, the IDF said.Inside, soldiers found surveillance equipment, combat gear, living supplies and Hezbollah emblems. Both brigades are operating under the 91st Division in the security zone in southern Lebanon. The military said the findings were further evidence that UNIFIL, the UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon, had failed in its mission, and that terrorist groups were cynically exploiting the force's inaction.

The IDF said it would not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or soldiers, and would continue to remove threats while remaining committed to the ceasefire agreement.

The Jerusalem Post reproduces an Israeli army announcement and lets the army's label pass into its own voice. It calls Amal and Hezbollah 'terrorist organizations' with no attribution, though Arutz Sheva shows the identical sentence came from the army spokesperson.

    Serious

“emblems of the Amal and Hezbollah terrorist organizations”

    Why this matters
The Post writes "the Amal and Hezbollah terrorist organizations" as its own description, with no attribution in the sentence.
    The impression it gives
That both Amal and Hezbollah are established, by the newspaper itself, as terrorist organisations.
    The context
The wording is the IOF spokesperson's. Arutz Sheva prints the identical sentence under the heading "IDF spokesperson". The Post's own report rests on what "the military announced", yet it drops the attribution for this label and applies it to two Lebanese movements with nothing in the article to support it.
