Israeli fire kills 4 Palestinians, injures 10 amid Gaza ceasefire violations
Four Palestinians were killed and 10 others injured by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip on Monday amid daily violations of last year’s ceasefire agreement, a medical source said. The source at Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza said a man was killed and five others, including a woman and two girls, were wounded in an Israeli strike in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis. Witnesses said an Israeli drone fired at least one missile toward a Palestinian in the al-Mawasi area.
In another attack, a Palestinian man was killed, and four others were wounded, one critically, in an Israeli strike in Khan Younis, according to the same source. A 40-year-old man was also killed, and another Palestinian was moderately wounded in an Israeli attack east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. A Palestinian man died of wounds sustained in an Israeli strike on al-Mawasi on Sunday afternoon. Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire toward areas east and south of Khan Younis, according to local sources and witnesses.
An Israeli quadcopter dropped a bomb on a gathering of Palestinians east of al-Masdar village, east of Deir al-Balah, according to witnesses. Israeli army forces also demolished homes and buildings outside their deployment areas east of Al-Masdar, they said. The area has witnessed incursions by Israeli military vehicles and bulldozers in recent days amid heavy gunfire and artillery shelling, as well as the razing of homes and civilian structures that forced several families to flee, according to local sources.
In Gaza City, witnesses said Israeli military vehicles fired artillery shells and gunfire toward eastern neighborhoods, while Israeli naval vessels opened fire toward the city’s coastline. Israeli violations of the Gaza ceasefire have killed 1,583 Palestinians and wounded 5,711 others since Oct. 10, 2025, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. The ceasefire was reached after two years of an Israeli genocidal war that has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others since October 2023.
