1 Palestinian killed, 4 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza despite ceasefire
A Palestinian was killed and four others, including a child, were injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since early Friday, amid continued Israeli violations of a ceasefire that took effect Oct. 10, 2025. In the latest attack, a medical source told Anadolu that Ibrahim Munir al-Masri was killed and another Palestinian injured in an Israeli strike targeting a gathering of people near the Ansar junction southwest of Gaza City. Earlier, three Palestinians, including a girl and an elderly woman, were injured by Israeli army gunfire targeting Street 5 in the Al-Mawasi area and the vicinity of Hamad City northwest of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, the source said. Witnesses told Anadolu that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on residential areas and tents sheltering displaced people in northern, eastern and southern Khan Younis. Israeli warships also opened fire on the coast of Khan Younis. Early Friday, local sources told Anadolu that the Israeli army carried out a major demolition operation targeting homes and buildings inside areas under its control in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City. In central Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas of Deir al-Balah and the Al-Maghazi refugee camp amid gunfire in the vicinity. Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement had killed 1,439 Palestinians and injured 5,052 others as of Thursday, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. Since Oct. 8, 2023, Israel has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others in the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian figures, while around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been destroyed.
