Israeli victims are on the page, Palestinians are not, one side gets far more space, and the legal stakes go unmentioned.

Watch: Feral Pro-Palestine student activists storm lecture on hostages

Feral pro-Palestine student activists stormed a lecture at City University yesterday over its focus on British-Israeli hostages. Human rights barrister Adam Wagner KC was speaking about his experience representing the British families of Israelis kidnapped by Hamas when activists barged into the room, shouting slogans including ‘you should be disbarred’, ‘the Zionist hostages were killed by the Zionists’, ‘settlers go home’ and ‘war criminal’. The students disrupted proceedings for 10 minutes before leaving, at which point Wagner finished his talk. Afterwards, he said: ‘The purpose of this protest was not to express an opinion or have a debate, and least of all to listen to my view. It was to intimidate me, stop me doing my legal work, and try to make it impossible for people who do not share their extremist world view to give lectures and do ordinary things that people at universities do, such as exchange ideas. I will not be intimidated by illiberal people.’ Responding to the disgraceful scenes, Tory shadow education secretary Laura Trott said: ‘These students are revolting and should be expelled from the university.’ Student pro-Pals at City University in London just disrupted a talk by lawyers who represented the British connected hostages. I can’t believe how grotesque this is. They rant about the “Zionist hostages” and screech for the release of Palestinian terrorists.
