A More in Common poll revealed that just 16 per cent of voters believe Mr Polanski is doing a good job, compared to 43 per cent who feel he is doing a bad job. The fall in support comes after a Green Party conference motion classifying Zionism as racism sparked internal backlash and the resignation of the Wales Green Party deputy leader. Mr Polanski stated his leadership does not depend on winning the by-election, whilst emphasising that the party will not accept any exclusion based on religion.
