Iran’s Mojtaba Khamenei orders military response without ‘geographic limits’ to new threats
Iran’s supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei warns the United States against launching fresh attacks as speculation grows that the Middle East war will resume.
Khamenei orders Iran’s armed forces to respond immediately and without “geographic limits to any enemy threat,” according to a statement published on his official Telegram account.
“If the enemies once again launch military or terrorist attacks, it is the armed forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation that will determine the time and conditions for ending them,” Khamenei says, ordering an update of the military target list to bring US and Israeli “physical and non-physical” assets within the reach of Iranian forces.

Iran’s army warns any new US attack would spread war wider
Iran’s army warns that any new US attack would only spread their war wider, following threats ahead of the US midterm elections by America and Israel of further military action.
The Iranian warning comes with fresh diplomatic efforts underway to avert a resumption of fighting, with Qatari mediators in Tehran and US Vice President JD Vance reportedly sending a letter to Iran’s security chief Mohsen Rezaei.
“If the US president once again embarks on more regional adventurism under pressure from, and in an attempt to appease, the Zionists, the flames of war will undoubtedly engulf a much wider geographical area,” Iranian army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia says in a post on X, without elaborating.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also warns that “Iran’s Powerful Armed Forces will deal against those who dare harm our people.”
The US holds midterm elections on Tuesday that could determine the direction of the war, which has proven unpopular with American voters following a spike in energy prices due to the conflict.

Anti-Israel demonstration targeting Phuket Chabad House reportedly planned for today
An anti-Israel protest targeting the Chabad House in Patong is planned for today on the Thai tourist island of Phuket, with demonstrators expected to gather at Saphan Hin from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time, according to Thai media reports.
The Phuket Land Protection Group (PLPG) and other organizations behind the demonstration accuse Israeli-linked businesses and Chabad of involvement in illicit activities and powerful vested interests, though provincial authorities have found no evidence to substantiate the claims.
The planned demonstration follows a protest near the Chabad House in September, when some 500 Thais gathered with signs reading “SAVE PHUKET NO ISRAEL” and chants of “Free Palestine.”
A mass Rosh Hashanah dinner planned for the island was subsequently canceled, with organizers saying Israeli security officials had requested the cancellation over concerns that local protests could turn violent.
