Bitwise’s wallet portfolios

Bitwise Asset Management announced on Tuesday the launch of Automated Token Portfolios (ATPs), using Coinbase’s tokenized U.S. stocks with portfolio implementation and automatic rebalancing handled by Glider. Bitwise said its ATPs let eligible investors outside the U.S. automatically replicate professionally designed portfolios of tokenized stocks while retaining custody in their own wallets, and unlike traditional funds investors don’t transfer assets into a pooled investment vehicle. The initial suite is set to roll out its first three ATPs over the coming weeks, including the Bitwise Mag7X ATP with equal-weighted exposure to Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Tesla, alongside SpaceX.

PR Newswire said Bitwise ATPs are powered by Coinbase’s recently launched tokenized U.S. stocks and implemented by Glider, whose technology automatically rebalances wallet holdings to keep them aligned with Bitwise’s published model portfolio weights. Bitwise set a 0.15% methodology access fee, exclusive of trading fees and any fees charged by Glider for platform services, while PR Newswire said Coinbase Tokenized Stocks and Automated Token Portfolios are available only to non-U.S. persons in eligible jurisdictions outside of the U.S.

How the system works

Crypto News said Glider automatically adjusts users’ wallet holdings to match model weights published by Bitwise, and investors retain the tokenized stocks in non-custodial wallets instead of transferring them into a pooled fund. Benzinga described that tokenized stocks remain in users’ non-custodial wallets while Glider automatically adjusts holdings to track Bitwise’s published model portfolio weights. Cointelegraph added that the portfolios use Coinbase’s recently launched tokenized stocks, while Glider automatically rebalances users’ holdings to match model portfolios designed by Bitwise.

Benzinga said the structure could also allow investors to use their tokenized holdings across Defi protocols, including potentially lending or borrowing against them. In PR Newswire’s description of risks and important information, it said ATPs are published, rules-based model portfolios designed by Bitwise Investment Manager, LLC, and Bitwise does not exercise discretion over, custody, or control any user's assets, with all implementation and rebalancing performed by Glider.

ATLAS and broader crypto

Separately, Crypto Briefing reported that LayerZero Labs unveiled ATLAS, short for Aggregated Trading Liquidity and Settlement, as a headless exchange backend designed to fuse the performance characteristics of traditional exchanges with the self-custody and transparency guarantees of decentralized systems. Crypto Briefing said Open ATLAS, the open-access version, locked in its first wave of collaborators including GTE and Bullish, along with DefinedFi and TrueNorth, and that all four plan to build AI-powered trading tools on top of the infrastructure. Crypto Briefing described that ATLAS bundles matching, clearing, settlement, and risk management into a single unified framework that any front-end application can plug into, with “Headless” meaning there’s no proprietary user interface attached.

Crypto Briefing said the full launch is scheduled for later in 2026, with additional technical details about the underlying technology referred to internally as “Zero,” expected in coming weeks alongside documentation on cross-chain interoperability features. In the same Crypto Briefing report, TrueNorth’s specialized AI for financial applications was described as claiming 98% accuracy on finance-related tasks and 80% lower latency compared to general-purpose models, and it said TrueNorth raised $3 million in December 2025 from investors including CyberFund and Delphi Labs.
