IBIT leads rebound
U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $526.6 million in net inflows on October 19, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) pulling in $665.2 million on its own.
IBIT delivered its biggest daily inflow since Oct. 7 last year, while Fidelity’s FBTC lost $83.6 million and Grayscale’s GBTC shed $54.9 million.

IBIT took in $665.2M on October 19, but US spot BTC USD ETFs collectively recorded a smaller $526.7 million net inflow.
Trading volume across all spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $2.09 billion on the day, and it also put total net assets held by the funds at $105.46 billion as of October 19.
IBIT leading the gains by attracting $665.2 million, with 12 U.S. spot-Bitcoin ETFs posting combined net inflows of $526.64 million the previous day.
Outflows narrow the total
IBIT’s $665.2M inflow was offset by $83.6M in withdrawals from FBTC and $54.9M from GBTC, leaving the sector with $526.7M in net inflows. The inflow more than erased last week’s $228.5 million of withdrawals, though the funds remain about $90.5 million in the red for October. The purchases offset $83.6 million in withdrawals from Fidelity’s FBTC and another $54.9 million from Grayscale’s GBTC, while nine other funds reported no net flows.
The Block’s crypto Fear & Greed Index sat at 59, in “greed” territory, according to Bitbo, as bitcoin stayed boxed in between $82,000 and $83,000. Spot ether ETFs shed another $103.3 million, extending their losing streak to four days, even as bitcoin’s ETF rebound concentrated in IBIT.

Bitcoin versus Ethereum split
The rebound widened the gap with Ethereum ETFs, whose assets fell from $17.79 billion to $14.7 billion amid sustained investor redemptions. Ether funds moved in the opposite direction, losing $103.3 million in their fourth consecutive session of outflows, with BlackRock’s ETHA accounting for $95.4 million of the withdrawals. Ethereum spot ETFs recorded $103.3 million in net outflows on October 19, and BlackRock’s ETHA led those redemptions, accounting for $95.4 million of the total.
The opposing flows left Bitcoin ETFs outperforming Ethereum products by approximately $630 million in a single session. BlackRock also filed for a new bitcoin fund on Monday, the proposed iShares Bitcoin Managed Protect ETF, which would offer investors downside protection alongside upside exposure to IBIT.
