The suspension followed Fernandez's comments expressing admiration for Madrid. Chelsea are sixth in the Premier League, one point behind Liverpool.
Agent and Contract Issues
Pastore branded the sanction as completely unfair. Fernandez only mentioned Madrid as a city, not as a club.
Contract talks have stalled since December or January. Real Madrid is looking for a midfielder and Fernandez is one of their targets.
