32 House endorsements
Stand With Crypto, a Coinbase-backed advocacy group launched in 2023, endorsed 32 incumbent congressional candidates for the November midterm elections, tying the slate to votes for the CLARITY Act when the House advanced the bill.

Reuters reported that the endorsements come as the Clarity Act “stalls in the Senate amid opposition from some lawmakers,” and Stand With Crypto said it wants to return the “industry-friendly candidates to office.”

Stand With Crypto executive director Mason Lynaugh said, “In 2024 we were very much proving that the crypto voter is real,” framing the 2026 push as a continuation of its first active cycle.
The group says it has more than 3 million registered U.S. “advocates,” and Reuters said Coinbase launched Stand With Crypto to influence elections by organizing and mobilizing voters rather than through large campaign expenditures.
Lynaugh on voting bloc
Stand With Crypto said its slate of 32 was designed to influence federal digital asset policy, describing endorsed politicians as “proven digital asset policy champions” and targeting competitive races “where Stand With Crypto advocate numbers are most likely to influence outcomes.”
In a separate Reuters interview, Lynaugh said, “In 2026 we're very much showing that we have the organizing capacity and that our advocates are a true voting bloc that can move the needle,” as the group builds on its 2024 effort.

TradingView reported that Stand With Crypto announced six candidates in March, with those candidates advancing from primaries to compete in November, and it said the group’s endorsements are based on digital asset policy views.
Reuters also said several of the 32 endorsees are running in competitive races, including Arizona Republican Juan Ciscomani and Pennsylvania Republican Brian Fitzpatrick, and that the group will announce its Senate endorsements closer to Election Day.
CLARITY delay and stakes
The political stakes for the next Congress are tied to whether the CLARITY Act can move forward, with Reuters saying the legislation is the crypto industry’s “top policy priority” as it remains held up in the Senate.

TradingView said the House passed the Digital Asset Market Clarity (CLARITY) Act with bipartisan support in July 2025, and it added that CLARITY is scheduled for a cloture motion once the Senate returns from recess on Sept. 15, with the chamber having 14 days in session before breaking before the November election.
Reuters reported that the crypto industry spent $170 million supporting congressional candidates during the 2024 elections, and it said the sector has already poured close to $200 million into the November midterm elections through Fairshake.
For the policy timeline, TradingView said that after the midterms the Senate will have another 22 days before 2027 to return the bill to the House, after which it could head to the president’s desk for approval.
