Journalist and filmmaker Basel Adra, who lives in the nearby village of Tuwani, told the newsletter that "They burn the houses at night and they come in the morning to enjoy their actions."

Salah Abu Jundiya said the settlers that night gathered on a hilltop where they planted an Israeli flag two years ago, then "They attacked the whole community; they damaged and burned everything in front of our faces."

Water pipeline sabotage

In southeast Tubas, Israeli settlers on Tuesday destroyed parts of the main water pipeline in Al-Ras Al-Ahmar, cutting water supplies to about 30 Palestinian livestock-herding families and 8,000 dunams of irrigated farmland.

WAFA said the area has also witnessed months of Israeli land leveling to build a 22-kilometer military road linking checkpoints southeast and east of Tubas.

The Kuwait Times described how occupation authorities began implementing the "Crimson Thread" settlement project in these areas, involving constructing a military road and a 22-km-long separation extending from the village of Ein Shibli to the Tayasir military checkpoint.

Kuwait Times quoted Saad Basharat, who owns 120 dunams planted with a variety of vegetable crops, saying he lost his crops after their water supply was cut off as a result of the destruction of irrigation pipelines.

Roads, orders, and land damage

The Kuwait Times reported that land leveling operations since the beginning of the year destroyed and dried out thousands of dunams of agricultural land in Atouf and the al-Baqi’a Plain, described as Palestine’s food basket.

It said cutting the main water pipelines caused crops covering nearly 30,000 dunams to dry out, one-third of the plain’s total area of 96,000 dunams, and added that occupation authorities demolished three artesian water wells that had supplied 7,500 dunams of agricultural land.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission data cited by Kuwait Times said occupation authorities issued eight military orders under the designation "taking security measures," calling for the removal of wild vegetation and the uprooting of olive trees targeting a total area of 316,636 dunams.

The same report said the commission documented the uprooting of or attacks on 45,195 trees in the West Bank since the beginning of this year, while also describing environmental violations in the West Bank during 2025 and 2024.
