Coventry moved a step closer to Premier League promotion after a hard-fought 0-0 draw with Hull. The result leaves Frank Lampard's side 12 points clear of second-placed Ipswich who have a game in hand. Four points from five games is all Coventry need to secure a top-two spot and end a 25-year wait.
The Sky Blues may get over the line on Saturday if they beat Sheffield Wednesday and the chasing pack drop points. Coventry retained their 12-point lead atop the Championship table with five matches remaining.

The promotion race tightened as Millwall suffered a 2-1 defeat at Norwich. Oscar Schwartau scored the decisive goal for the Canaries. Ipswich went second after Kasey McAteer scored in a 2-1 win over Birmingham.
Middlesbrough found themselves in third place, level on points with Ipswich. Promotion contenders dropped points, strengthening Coventry's position.
