Spyder Debuts in 2026
Czinger revealed the all-new 21C Spyder during 2026 Monterey Car Week, presenting it as a roofless convertible version of its 21C hybrid hypercar.

The Spyder is built around a 2.88-liter twin-turbo V8 that redlines at 11k rpm, paired with three electric motors for a combined output of 1,250 hp and 691 lb-ft of torque.

Czinger says the 21C Spyder generates 3,267 lbs (1,482 kg) of downforce at 150 mph, and it can reach 60 mph in 1.9 seconds and run the quarter-mile in 8.7 seconds.
The company plans to limit production to 30 units, each hand-assembled at Czinger's Area 21 production facility in Los Angeles, with a starting price of no less than $2.75 million.
Top Speed frames the Spyder’s global debut as set for August 14, 2026, and says it is fully homologated in all 50 US states.
BrakeNode and NeuralNode
Czinger’s headline engineering for the Spyder is BrakeNode, described as a world-first braking technology that integrates the brake caliper, suspension upright, and hydraulic fluid pathways into a single structure.
Top Gear says the Spyder is the first Czinger to be fitted with BrakeNode, and it claims the integrated braking system reduces stopping distances by up to 15 per cent.

Ars Technica highlights the “organic-looking” character of the new brake assemblies, describing them as topology-optimized shapes made with direct-metal laser-sintering.
In the cockpit, autoevolution says NeuralNode brings the BioLogic Engineering into the cabin with “additively manufactured metal touchpoints” and enhanced HVAC for open-top driving comfort.
Top Gear adds that the Spyder’s roofless setup uses a fabric emergency roof you can stow on board, while the hard roof panel must be left at home.
Limited Build, Brand Scrutiny
Czinger says the Spyder’s downforce is higher than any open-top road car, with Top Speed putting the figure at 3,267 lbs at 150 mph and 3,307 lbs when using the removable carbon fiber roof.

Road & Track reports that when the canopy is installed, downforce is equal to the 3307 lb at 150 MPH produced by the fixed-roof 21C HDF model, and it says the Spyder still generates 3267 lb of downforce at 150 MPH with the top off.
Evo describes the Spyder as a culmination of Czinger’s latest engineering and design developments, quoting CEO Lukas describing it as “the most exhilarating” version of the car.
The Supercar Blog says Czinger revealed the 21C Spyder at Pebble Beach and calls it the open-top version of its 21C hypercar powered by a twin-turbo V8 that revs to 11,000 rpm.
Jalopnik ties the Spyder’s launch to Monterey Car Week and says Czinger says it weighs only 22 pounds for the carbon-fiber roof panel, which is easy to take off with two latches.
