NBA Playoffs Set
The 2026 NBA playoffs are officially set with all 20 postseason seeds locked in.
“The Play-In Tournament will run through Friday, and the first round of the playoffs will tip off on Saturday (April 18)”
The top six seeds in each conference are guaranteed playoff spots, while teams 7th through 10th enter the Play-In Tournament.
The Play-In begins Tuesday, April 14, with four teams from each conference facing off.

The Detroit Pistons secured the No. 1 seed in the East with a 60-22 record.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are the top seed in the West at 64-18.
Matchups already set include the Knicks vs. Hawks and Cavaliers vs. Raptors in the East.

The Detroit Pistons enter the playoffs as the East's No. 1 seed after a franchise-best 60-win season.
Cade Cunningham returns from a collapsed lung, though questions remain about his health.
