El Mundo framed the convention as a strategy centered on Trump to generate enthusiasm and energize his powerful base of voters before the midterms, describing it as a "Trumpapalooza" and quoting Joe Gruters, head of the Republican National Committee (RNC), saying, "We need the president at the center, in the front row."
In Dallas, FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth said Trump's keynote is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10 from 8 to 9 p.m. Central time at the American Airlines Center, following hours of 56 items and speakers that would touch on topics including taxes, border security, prescription drug costs, public health, and congressional ethics.
