Reeves knocked out
Irish boxer Lee Reeves remains in a “critical but stable” condition in hospital after suffering a 10th-round knockout defeat to Gary Cully in their vacant BUI Celtic super-lightweight title bout at Dublin’s 3Arena on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old Limerick fighter was stretchered from the ring after the contest and transferred to hospital, where Queensberry Promotions confirmed on Sunday that he was still under medical care.
The fight ended when Cully knocked Reeves out in the 10th round, with the bout taking place on the undercard of Pierce O’Leary’s clash with Mark Chamberlain.
Speaking after the fight, Cully said, “Hopefully he’s okay,” and added, “Huge credit to him,” as attention shifted from the result to Reeves’ condition.
