Attacks despite ceasefire
Israeli occupation forces carried out new attacks in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing Palestinians and injuring several others in Khan Yunis and Gaza City as violations of the ceasefire continued.

In southern Gaza, an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle carrying two people near the Palestinian Red Crescent Society building in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Yunis, and Nasser Hospital received the body of one Palestinian killed in the attack along with several wounded people.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said on Thursday that hospitals across the enclave had received one dead Palestinian and seven injured people during the preceding 24 hours as Israeli attacks continued, and it warned that an unspecified number of victims remained beneath the rubble and on roads.
The Palestine Chronicle reported that Israeli attacks have killed 1,260 Palestinians and injured another 4,154 since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, and it said another 808 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
The Muslim News said the death toll from Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,388 Palestinians, with a further 174,259 wounded, according to Palestinian medical sources.
Hospital counts and disputes
Palestinian medical sources told The Muslim News that Gaza hospitals received the body of one Palestinian recovered from beneath the rubble during the previous 24 hours, while two wounded people were also brought in for treatment.
The Muslim News reported that four Palestinians were wounded on Wednesday in two separate Israeli attacks targeting civilians in northern and southern Gaza, and it said Palestinian officials described the incidents as another violation of the ceasefire.
In northern Gaza, medical workers treated two people wounded when an Israeli drone struck a three-wheeled vehicle, known as a tuk-tuk, near the western roundabout in Beit Lahia, and one victim was said to be in critical condition.
Palestine Chronicle cited Gaza’s Health Ministry figures that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, the number of Palestinians killed has risen to 1,260 and 4,154 have been injured, while another 808 bodies have been recovered.
WAFA reported that health authorities said hospitals across Gaza received the bodies of two Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces and 14 others injured over the past 24 hours, and that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, the number of Palestinians killed has risen to 1,262 while 4,168 have been injured.
Missing people and humanitarian strain
Beyond the immediate casualty figures, Al-Jazeera Net reported that a Palestinian rights center estimated that the number of citizens suspected of being forcibly disappeared in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli war is about 2,500 to 3,000 people.

Al-Jazeera Net said the estimate came within an analytical study based on a sample of 317 cases, and it reported that men accounted for 302 cases, 95.27%, compared with 15 women.
The Palestinian Center for Missing and Forcibly Disappeared said in its study that the Gaza Governorate recorded the highest number with 89 cases, followed by North Gaza (74), Khan Yunis (59), then the Central Governorate (37), and Rafah with 32 cases.
Daily Sabah reported that the Gaza Health Ministry said nine Palestinians were killed and 18 injured over the past 48 hours, and it said the overall number of injured Palestinians since the start of the war has reached 174,472.
WAFA said the death toll from Israel's ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,391 Palestinians, with 174,280 others injured, since October 7, 2023, and it reported that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads as ambulance and rescue crews remain unable to reach them.
