Pixel 11 Pro details
Google’s new Pixel 11 Pro is positioned as a compact flagship that “evolue par petites touches,” with a “petite led colorée,” a “processeur” said to be “plus véloce,” and a brighter screen alongside new functions arriving with Android 17.
Frandroid says the Pixel 11 Pro keeps a compact format and measures 152,7 mm de hauteur, 71,9 mm de largeur et 8,4 mm d’épaisseur, with a weight of 204 grammes.
The same source describes a back in “verre Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2” and a frame in aluminium, plus an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
On the display, Frandroid reports a 6,3 pouces screen with a maximum definition of 1 280 x 2 856 pixels and a density of 495 ppp, while also saying the screen is protected by “verre Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2” and includes a new coating said by Google to be “deux fois plus résistant aux rayures.”
HiLight and Gemini
A key hardware change highlighted by Frandroid is Pixel HiLight, described as “un système composé de plusieurs LED disposées en anneau tout autour du flash de l’appareil photo arrière.”
Frandroid says HiLight “s’active principalement lorsque le téléphone est posé retourné afin de communiquer des informations sans avoir à regarder l’écran,” and it can associate a specific color with “vos contacts favoris.”
The ZDNET review of the Pixel 11 Pro XL frames HiLight as limited, writing that “HiLight is not really a highlight,” and it says the light only works when you activate Gemini or get phone calls from favorite contacts, not texts.
ZDNET also describes the light’s behavior as indicating Gemini status, stating it “can also indicate that Gemini is listening or thinking,” while TechCrunch adds that HiLight is “an LED notification light on the back of the phone that replaced last year’s temperature sensor.”
Pricing, specs, and limits
Les Numériques says the Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at 1399 € for 256 Go and notes that the RAM can reach up to 16 Go while the 256 Go storage version must “se contenter de 12 Go de mémoire vive.”

The same outlet reports that the Pixel 11 Pro XL uses a new Tensor G6 chip and includes “charge sans fil Qi2.2,” while also listing connectivity support including “wifi 7” and “Bluetooth 6.0.”
TechCrunch’s review emphasizes that the Pixel 11 Pro’s changes are incremental, saying “the Pixel 11 doesn’t look that different from prior models,” while also pointing to Gemini features and “some new Gemini features.”
In ZDNET’s testing, “Live Translate for Media” is described as working only part of the time, with the reviewer saying it “worked about half the time,” and TechCrunch adds that the new Live Translate feature is “useful for when you are watching a live stream or a video without translated captions.”
