Ceasefire Violations, New Deaths
Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that hospitals received the bodies of eight Palestinians during the preceding 24 hours—seven newly killed in Israeli attacks and one who succumbed to earlier wounds—and received 31 wounded Palestinians.

On Wednesday evening, an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a tent housing displaced Palestinians in Asda’ City, in northern Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, killing Mohammad Mahmoud Murshed Al-Qadi, 39, and injuring four others.
The ministry said that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,334 Palestinians and injured 4,429 others, while rescue teams have recovered the bodies of 815 slain Palestinians.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed 73,470 Palestinians and injured 174,540 others, the ministry added.
In a separate report, Al Jazeera said two Palestinians were martyred by Israeli army fire outside areas under their control in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, and that one of the martyrs was a child (13 years old).
Detention Abuse and Claims
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, said Israeli prison guards continue to beat him, deliberately deprive him of sleep, and threaten him to prevent him from telling his lawyer about his detention conditions.
According to testimony conveyed during an August 30 legal visit, Physicians for Human Rights Israel said Abu Safiya’s guards punched and kicked him and struck him with batons across his body, including his groin.
The IMEMC News report said Abu Safiya was abducted on December 27, 2024, during an Israeli raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital, and that he remains imprisoned without charge or trial under Israel’s Unlawful Combatants Law.
In another account of violence during the ceasefire, Anadolu reported that the Israeli army acknowledged killing a Palestinian in northern Gaza, claiming that its forces had spotted an "armed individual who crossed the Yellow Line and approached the forces in a way that posed an immediate threat."
Anadolu also quoted the UN human rights office saying, "There is no safe place, nor safe person, in Gaza," while describing 24 Palestinians, including four children and a woman, killed in Israeli attacks over five days between Aug. 28 and Sept. 1.
Humanitarian Toll and Political Stakes
The IMEMC News report said Israeli attacks continued across the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire, while also describing a blockade that has further exacerbated the humanitarian crisis facing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.

It stated that the latest violations included artillery shelling, live ammunition, naval fire, helicopter attacks, and the destruction of civilian property across several areas of Gaza, and it cited attacks on Islamic Complex Street in eastern Khan Younis and the Abu Al-‘Ajin area southeast of Deir Al-Balah.
In parallel, Al Jazeera Net reported that Israel’s violations of the ceasefire agreement continued since October 10, 2025, and said the northern Gaza Strip was experiencing a sharp deterioration in medical services as Israeli forces opened fire on the government hospital, Kamal Adwan, the only one in the region.
Al Jazeera Net also reported that Israeli occupation forces infiltrated Beit Lahia with military vehicles and expanded their control areas, moving what is known as the "Yellow Line."
Meanwhile, the IMEMC News report said the ministry added that an unknown number of victims remain beneath the rubble and on roads because ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them, underscoring the stakes for rescue access and recovery.
