Hezbollah said it was fighting "a force of the Israeli enemy army that attempted to advance from the town of Arnoun towards the outskirts of Kfar Tibnit" near the key town of Nabatieh, and added that "the clashes are still ongoing".

The fighting came a day after the United States and Iran signed an agreement to end the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, according to the NZ Herald.
The NZ Herald also said Israel’s military announced the death of one of its soldiers the night before in an incident in south Lebanon that left seven others wounded, while UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres’ spokesman Stephane Dujarric said peacekeepers in Lebanon reported exchanges of fire on Thursday.
Officials and militia voices
Lebanon’s state media reported Israeli strikes in the south killed three people, while Hezbollah’s statement said its fighters were battling the Israeli military and that "the clashes are still ongoing".
In a separate account, L'Orient-Le Jour said the Lebanese army announced the death of Corporal Fadel Abdallah Ayoub, who died in an Israeli strike targeting the village of Kfar Tebnit in the Nabatieh District.

L'Orient-Le Jour also said the army had officially confirmed the deaths of seven of its soldiers since the start of the Israeli offensive against Lebanon on March 2, and that the Ministry of Health reported air force bombings this Saturday evening against Deir el-Zahrani and Kfar Tebnit killed seven and three people respectively.
The same L'Orient-Le Jour report quoted Hezbollah saying it targeted around 10 p.m. the Israeli position at Hanita with a "squadron of drones" and the Israeli locality of Nahariya with a "volley of rockets".
What’s at stake next
L'Orient-Le Jour said the Ministry of Health had earlier reported at the start of the evening at least 47 dead and 112 wounded this Saturday, and that later deaths of eight more people were confirmed after Israeli strikes on Haniyye and Jouaya (Tyre).

It also reported that Hezbollah claims two new attacks against Israeli positions, including rockets at the Litani Project site in Taybé and targeting soldiers and vehicles of the Israeli enemy army with volleys of rockets at 15:00, 15:30, 17:00 and 17:10.
Separately, L'Orient-Le Jour said the Houthis claimed a "second military operation" against Israel, carried out "simultaneously" with operations by Iran and Hezbollah, and quoted Yemeni rebel spokesperson Yahya Saree saying their armed forces carried out the second operation using a volley of cruise missiles and drones.
The report added that the Houthis’ statement said the operation took place simultaneously with military operations conducted by "our brothers fighting in Iran" and by Hezbollah in Lebanon, and that it achieved its objectives successfully.
