Hospital warehouse hit
An Israeli airstrike destroyed the medicines and medical supplies warehouse belonging to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza on Saturday, according to Bernama-WAFA.

Bernama-WAFA said the targeting of the warehouse caused extensive damage to the facility and damaged nearby tents housing displaced families, leaving a large crater at the strike site.
The Gaza health ministry condemned the destruction of two medicine warehouses belonging to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, saying the missiles’ destructive force resulted in the complete destruction of two out of four warehouses and severe damage to two other warehouses.
Middle East Eye reported that Israeli strikes on Deir al-Balah also killed one Palestinian, citing hospital authorities, while Al Jazeera said the Israeli army had no immediate comment.
Condemnations and death tolls
Gaza’s health ministry said the attack meant the loss of "vital quantities of medical supplies and consumables" and also damaged the hospital’s outpatient clinic facility, while Middle East Eye reported that Israeli strikes on Deir al-Balah killed one Palestinian.
Al Jazeera reported that an Israeli air strike destroyed a warehouse full of medical supplies for Gaza’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, and said the Israeli army had no immediate comment.
Le Monde, citing civil defense and health facilities, said Israeli airstrikes killed seven people on Saturday, August 1, in the Gaza Strip, and described additional incidents including a strike that wounded several people in Deir al-Balah shortly after midnight.
Le Monde also reported that the Gaza health ministry said 152 people had been killed in the territory over the past month, the highest monthly toll since the start of the year, while Haaretz said the Gaza Health Ministry reported Saturday that 152 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza this month.
Ceasefire doubts and health stakes
The attacks came the day after an agreement on disarmament of Hamas and an Israeli withdrawal was announced, but Le Monde reported that a security source said "the Israeli army continues its aggression, its violations and breaches of the ceasefire agreement."

Le Monde said the Islamic Jihad, allied with Hamas, said in a statement that "the continuation of the escalation and the violations of the ceasefire agreement" cast doubt on Mr. Trump’s announcement.
Le Monde reported that the Israeli army said it had targeted a building that "served as a hideout for Hamas terrorists, where they stored their weapons," adding it had taken prior steps to warn residents.
In the same incident, Le Monde said the Gaza health ministry reported the strike destroyed two of the four medicine warehouses at the hospital complex and severely damaged the other two, as well as a nearby mobile clinic, while AFP journalists saw a large crater and people rummaging through debris amid the medicines.
