Ceasefire Violations Continue
Israeli strikes and drone attacks continued across Gaza despite a ceasefire agreement, with TRT World reporting that new Israeli airstrikes killed at least nine Palestinians and wounded several others, including children, after targeting four residential apartments in Gaza City.
“Israel’s military carried out a spate of attacks in Gaza, continuing its bombardment despite the ceasefire that remains in place on paper, as Palestinian factions prepare to convene in Egypt to discuss the enclave’s future”
TRT World said the deadliest strike hit the fourth floor of the Lebid apartment building in the Muhabarat area, killing five members of the same family, including Hassan Rebah Lebid, his wife Manar, and their three children, Mohammed, Rahaf, and Tamim.

In a separate account, Al Jazeera reported that an Israeli drone killed a young woman and injured at least 15 others in the southern Khan Younis area on Friday morning, and that another Israeli attack near Gaza City injured a child.
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud described a “dark reality” in Gaza, saying it left Palestinians wondering about the status of the so-called ceasefire.
The same Al Jazeera report said Israeli attacks have killed at least 947 people and injured 2,935 since the ceasefire began, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Journalists Killed in Strikes
Three journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday in central Gaza, with TF1 Info reporting that Civil Defense announced the deaths and identified the 34-year-old independent journalist as an AFP contributor.
TF1 Info said the Israeli army stated it struck three "suspects" maneuvering a drone, and that one of them had produced a report for AFP just a few days earlier.

Euronews reported that at least 11 people, including three journalists, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza on Wednesday, and said one attack targeted a vehicle belonging to the Egyptian Relief Committee in the Gaza Strip.
Euronews quoted Mohammed Mansour, the spokesman for the Egyptian Relief Committee, saying, "A vehicle belonging to the Egyptian Committee was targeted during a humanitarian mission," and said the team was filming a new displacement camp run by an Egyptian government committee in the Netzarim area.
TF1 Info added that AFP expressed its "deepest sorrow" and demanded a full and transparent investigation into the circumstances of Abdoul Raouf Shaath’s death.
Talks in Cairo, Future at Risk
As Palestinian factions prepare to convene in Egypt to discuss the enclave’s future, Al Jazeera reported that Hamas said some of its officials had arrived in Cairo for planned meetings with Egyptian officials and mediators to “finalise the implementation” of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
“The Israeli army said it had spotted suspects using a drone that posed a threat to its troops”
Al Jazeera said Hamas added it would also discuss how to “halt the repeated Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and establish appropriate mechanisms for entering the second phase of the agreement”.
Drop Site News said Hamas arrived in Cairo ahead of a new round of ceasefire negotiation expected to begin on Saturday and continue for several days, while also describing Israeli forces continued ceasefire violations across Gaza Thursday night and into early Friday.
Drop Site News quoted Gaza grandfather Ibrahim Labad rejecting claims of ceasefire after his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren were burned alive, saying, “I only saw myself and my wife. Everything else was darkness and fire,” and adding, “What war ended? It only ended for one side.”
TRT Français reported that Israeli forces have daily violations of the ceasefire in effect since October 10, which have left 691 dead and 1,876 injured as of March 18, according to data from the Palestinian Health Ministry.
