Eid strikes and deaths
Israeli attacks in Gaza on Saturday, the fourth day of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, killed two Palestinians and injured several others, while Israeli artillery shelling targeted areas east and south of Khan Younis and struck al-Bureij refugee camp, according to Al Jazeera.
“Two Palestinians have been killed and several others injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza, as Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes and property in northern and southern parts of the occupied West Bank”
Al Jazeera reported that Dr Jamal Abu Aboun, head of the anaesthesia department at Al-Yafa Medical Hospital in central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah, was killed in an Israeli strike near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and a medical source at Al-Aqsa hospital told Anadolu that "The body of Jamal Abu Aoun and three injured people, including a child, had arrived at the hospital".

The same Al Jazeera report said a later Israeli drone strike near Firas Market in Gaza City killed another Palestinian and wounded several others, and it also described Israeli forces demolishing homes east of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.
In a separate report, TRT World said an Israeli drone struck a gathering of beachgoers inside the fishermen's port on the coast of Gaza City, killing two people and injuring 18 others, and it added that an Israeli artillery strike targeted the Zeitoun neighbourhood southeast of Gaza City, wounding two more Palestinians.
TRT World also stated that Israeli attacks have killed 930 Palestinians and injured 2,819 others since a ceasefire took effect more than seven months ago, citing the Gaza Media Office.
Ceasefire violations and testimony
Al Jazeera said the attacks across Palestine on Saturday came amid continued Israeli violations of a United States-backed “ceasefire” implemented in October aimed at halting Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.
In testimonies to The Associated Press news agency included in Al Jazeera’s report, an Israeli soldier described a climate of dehumanisation and permissive rules of engagement, and said, "After the ceasefire, the order was: If someone crosses the line, you shoot them."

Al Jazeera also reported that another reservist said commanders repeatedly emphasised holding territory at all costs, adding, "There was a general feeling that human lives are not valuable,".
TRT World framed the same period as Israeli strikes across Gaza and the occupied West Bank amid continued violations of an ongoing ceasefire, and it said medical sources reported three Palestinians killed and 24 others injured on Sunday.
TRT World further reported that Israeli attacks have killed 930 Palestinians and injured 2,819 others since the ceasefire took effect more than seven months ago, while the broader war has killed nearly 73,000 Palestinians and injured more than 173,000, according to Palestinian figures.
Aid, evacuation limits, and risk
Alencontre reported that medical evacuations have resumed only very limitedly via the Rafah border crossing, and it said 18,000 people in need of significant medical care are waiting to be evacuated to access a functioning hospital.
It added that Israeli authorities, with de facto consent of the Egyptian authorities, have allowed only a few dozen exits from Gaza, described as an open-air prison that is 50% occupied by the military forces of the Netanyahu government.
Alencontre also cited the Palestinian Red Crescent Society saying that only eight Palestinians injured during the Israeli attacks during the Gaza war and 17 members of their family would be allowed to enter Egypt to receive medical care after the crossing reopened on Thursday.
In a different account, TRT عربي reported that a spokesperson for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Thamin al-Khitan, urged Israeli authorities to lift all restrictions related to basic living needs and to allow humanitarian aid to reach Gaza, saying, "Israel, as the occupying power in Gaza, is obliged to meet all the basic needs of the Palestinians in the sector, and to ensure lifting all restrictions on entry and flow of humanitarian aid."
TRT عربي further said the "Spring 2026 Mission" belonging to the "Global Flotilla of Resilience" sailed from the Italian island of Sicily to break the Israeli siege on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the sector after completing its latest preparations.
