Lebanon Strikes Escalate
Israeli air raids hit Ali Al-Taher area in southern Lebanon, with Al-Manar reporter saying the attacks also targeted Al-Dabsheh area and the towns of Kfar Roumman and Zawtar Al-Sharqiyeh.

ABNA English reported that the Israeli enemy carried out heavy bombings in Kfartebnit and Al-Mansouri towns as the raids spread across South Lebanon towns.
In Nabatieh district, Al Jazeera said an Israeli strike killed a Lebanese woman in the town of Arab Salim and injured several other people.
Al Jazeera linked the strikes to Israel’s claim that “a series of attacks came after Hezbollah launched two drones at Israeli troops.”
Casualties and Competing Claims
Al Jazeera reported that an Israeli air strike on the Lebanese town of Kfar Reman killed three people and injured at least 23, citing the Ministry of Public Health.
The same Al Jazeera report said Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported the strike hit Nabatieh near the strategic Ali al-Taher ridge, which the Israeli army said it had captured.
Al-Del e Al-Arabiya said Israel announced on Thursday evening that it had taken control of the hill of "Ali al-Tahir" and that at least 3 people were killed and 23 injured in strikes carried out by Israel on Friday evening.
Al-Del e Al-Arabiya also quoted UN humanitarian affairs coordinator for Lebanon, Othman Raad, saying that families returning to Nabatieh during the ceasefire period "face widespread destruction, a lack of basic services, and ongoing insecurity."
Prisoner File and Next Talks
While strikes continued, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat said the release of five detainees held by Israel—three Libyans and Syrians—opened a new chapter in the file of prisoners and missing persons.

The outlet reported that Lebanese President Michel Aoun confirmed that efforts will continue to release the remaining Lebanese detainees in Israel, stressing the need to complete what was agreed upon during the trilateral negotiations and to follow the framework agreement pathway.
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat said the U.S. Embassy in Beirut welcomed Israel’s release of prisoners within the Lebanese–Israeli trilateral framework, calling the step “positive,” and urged Lebanon and Israel to “continue building on this momentum ahead of the next round of talks.”
The same report described an official Lebanese source saying the release of the five prisoners “constitutes the start of a process being worked on to be completed,” and that Lebanon’s demand will remain until the release of all prisoners.
