Raids Injure Palestinians
Israeli military raids and attacks by Israelis from illegal settlements across the occupied West Bank injured at least 19 Palestinians, Palestinian health officials and local media reported.
“injured at least 19 Palestinians”
The Jerusalem Governorate said Israeli forces shot and injured three Palestinians who attempted to enter occupied East Jerusalem near the separation wall in ar-Ram, and the Palestine Red Crescent Society said its crews treated at least 11 Palestinians, including four children, for tear gas inhalation during raids in the Tubas Governorate.
In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, Wafa reported an elderly man was beaten and bruised by armed settlers, after which Israeli forces raided his home, damaged its contents and confiscated his family’s phones.
The same Al Jazeera report said the Hassan and Abu Rida families remain besieged in their homes in Qusra, south of Nablus, for a 14th consecutive day by settlers, with Israeli forces maintaining a closed military zone around the site.
Al Jazeera also said the United Nations humanitarian affairs office recorded more than 1,330 settler-related attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank between January and late July, averaging roughly six a day.
Quotes, Numbers, and Dispute
In a separate account, Al-Jazirah Net said about 17 Palestinians were struck by bullets and asphyxia during raids carried out by Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the occupied West Bank, with some subjected to beatings and assault.
It said the majority of injuries were recorded in Tubas and the town of Ta'asin, where about 11 Palestinians suffered asphyxia, including 4 children, after Israeli soldiers fired tear gas during their raid.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that a 15-year-old boy was injured by severe beating by settlers in Turmusayya north of Nablus, and it said crews in Jenin transported two young Palestinians to the hospital after settlers beat them in Arraba south of the city.
In al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, the governorate said 3 Palestinians were shot while attempting to cross the separation wall and enter the city, and their condition was described as stable.
Al-Jazirah Net framed the pattern as near-daily injuries near the apartheid wall and along the borders between the West Bank and Israel as Palestinians—mostly workers—attempt to cross in search of work on the Israeli side.
Settlement Expansion and Risk
Beyond the immediate injuries, the BBC described how Israel is expanding settlements in a drive to reshape the West Bank, citing a September ceremony at a settlement where Benjamin Netanyahu said, "We are going to fulfill our promise that there will be no Palestinian state."
“"We are going to fulfill our promise that there will be no Palestinian state"”
The BBC said the UN secretary general warned the E1 plan posed an "existential threat" to a future Palestinian state, and it reported that a joint statement by the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Canada said the plans were "unacceptable" and would "drive a wedge through the West Bank."
The BBC also said Israel has built about 160 settlements housing 700,000 Jews since 1967, and it reported that BBC Verify analysis of satellite imagery showed construction of around 185 new buildings since 2022 in the north-west territory settlement of Tzofim.
In a separate development, Gulf Times reported that Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohamed Mustafa discussed Gaza and West Bank developments in a telephone call, with Abdelatty denouncing illegal settlement expansion and escalating settler violence.
Gulf Times said Abdelatty warned against the dangers posed by the E1 settlement project, which he said "threatens the geographical contiguity of the Palestinian territories and isolates East Jerusalem from its Palestinian surroundings."
